Late in the third quarter of the Bucks’ win over the Lakers on
Friday, Malcolm Brogdon committed a hard foul on Nick Young,
and Young retaliated immediately. That set off a mini-skirmish,
one where Greg Monroe came to his rookie’s defense, and where
D’Angelo Russell got in a late shove before things settled

The NBA handed down punishment for the incident Sunday, and
while three players received fines, no one was suspended.

Monroe was fined $35,000 for shoving Young above the shoulders,
Young was fined $25,000 for initiating the altercation, and
Russell was fined $15,000 for pushing Monroe.

Interestingly enough, the part Lakers head coach Luke Walton
was so irate about wasn’t publicly

That’s a Bucks security staffer, who ran in from the bench and
got a hold of Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram.

“If there’s nothing wrong with that, then I have no problem
finding some people to hire on our staff (for the) next time we
get in a skirmish,” Walton said Friday. “The refs don’t say
anything about that, and he puts his hands on one of our
players. He works for them. He can touch (Milwaukee’s) players
all he wants. Don’t touch my damn players. Because if
that’s OK, I’m sure we can find a couple of people here in LA
that want that job working for the Lakers, too.”
